Who we are.

Tanzania Informatics Olympiad exists to find the country's sharpest young problem-solvers, wherever they are and give them a real path to compete internationally.

Mission

Talent shouldn't depend on zip code.

Many capable students never get exposed to competitive programming simply because of where they go to school. TIO is built to find that talent nationwide, not just in a handful of well-resourced schools, and give it a structured path forward.

Our long-term goal is a Tanzanian national team competing consistently at the International Olympiad in Informatics and other global stages, not as a one-off, but as an annual expectation.
